Hindu Jain Temple Youth Camp- A 30 year old tradition.

Every summer, the Hindu Jain Temple conducts a youth camp for the children ranging from ages 9 through 16. This week-long camp starts on a summer Sunday and concludes the following Saturday noon.

It is an excellent experience for them to gain knowledge of the Hindu culture and make lasting friendships. The Youth Camp lets children experience bhajans in the morning and evening, yoga, sports activities, religious lectures, intriguing debates, campfires, and fun and games. The food at camp is praised by all who have eaten it. At camp, your child will never be hungry. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon and bedtime snacks are provided daily. Meals include a variety of cuisines including pasta, enchiladas, tacos, and traditional Indian meals. All food is pure vegetarian, meaning no eggs.

During the camp, campers are under the guidance and direction of the Camp Director, Adult Volunteers, and Camp Counselors.

The Hindu Jain Temple Youth Camp will be one of the best experiences of your child’s life.

Following are some of the missions and objectives of the camp :
  • Nurture Hindu-Jain spiritual values and the cultural heritage of India.
  • Provide opportunity to the campers to explore aspects of Hinduism, Jainism, Indian history, and culture.
  • Provide opportunity for developing leadership skills, team building, and camaraderie among campers through various cultural, religious, craft and athletic programs.

Due to limited space, participation is on a first-come, first-served basis (please use the form links below).
