 Every summer, the Hindu Jain Temple conducts a youth camp for the children.
It is an excellent experience for kids to gain knowledge of the Hindu culture and make lasting friendships. Please see below for our camp schedule and camper/ counselor registration form. Both camper and counselor can register online.

 

Youth Camp 2018

 Dates: July 29th to Aug 4th
Location: Crestfield Camp & Conference Center, 195 Taggart Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057
Ages: 9-16
Hindu Jain Temple Youth Camp- A 30 year old tradition. 

Every summer, the Hindu Jain Temple conducts a youth camp for the children ranging from ages 9 through 16. This week-long camp starts on a summer Sunday and concludes the following Saturday noon.

It is an excellent experience for them to gain knowledge of the Hindu culture and make lasting friendships. The Youth Camp lets children experience bhajans in the morning and evening, yoga, sports activities, religious lectures, intriguing debates, campfires, and fun and games. The food at camp is praised by all who have eaten it. At camp, your child will never be hungry. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon and bedtime snacks are provided daily. Meals include a variety of cuisines including pasta, enchiladas, tacos, and traditional Indian meals. All food is pure vegetarian, meaning no eggs.
During the camp, campers are under the guidance and direction of the Camp Director, Adult Volunteers, and Camp Counselors.

The Hindu Jain Temple Youth Camp will be one of the best experiences of your child’s life.

Kids Camp

Dates: Jun 30th and Jul 1st,   9:30 am to 6 pm
Location: Temple Community Hall
Ages: 6-9
Hindu Jain Temple Kids  Camp

Bringing all the benefits of Youth Camp to younger kids.Every summer, the Hindu Jain Temple conducts a Kids camp for kids aged 6-9. This gives the younger kids the opportunity to experience the glorious tradition of our Youth camp in a fun filled learning experience. This is a day camp for two days from 9:30 am to 6 pm. 

The kids haved two fun filled days with Bouncy houses, Water games, sports mixed, scavenger hunts, Jeopardy, Capture the Flag along with Yoga, Havan and lessons in Hindu-Jain spiritual and cultural heritage of India.

Pure Vegetarian food is provided as Lunch, snacks and Dinner. 

 

Due to limited space, participation is on a first-come, first-served basis (please use the online forms below, No paper form this year). 

We encourage everyone to pay online using credit card. If you want to pay by check, once you register online, you will get an email with your registration. Bring your registration confirmation and send it along with your check.
